Wireless headphones are a refreshing type to use after dealing with wires that tangle and get caught on everything. With wired headphones, I tend to roll my office chair back and have the wire get yanked out of them all the time! Not so with wireless. However, the challenge with wireless headphones are that they do not typically have the same sound quality as their counterparts. The exception to this rule are Bose wireless headphones.
Bose wireless headphones are the best brand on the market, in my opinion, that avoid any sacrifice in sound quality when compared to wired headphones.
Why? I’m not exactly sure, but Bose has nailed the Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC connection on their headphones, making sure that no transmission distortion exists that degrades sound quality.
Also, they apply their same design quality in speakers, noise cancellation, and perfect seal of the cushioned ear pieces to achieve a very high quality sound experience.
When it comes to Bose wireless headphones, you really have two choices to consider.
Bose Wireless Headphones: Your Options
Over the Ear Category:
The Bose QuietComfort series is the best in the noise-cancelling category, but also is just a fantastic brand of over-the-ear headphones for every day use.
I’ve written about how I still use my QuietComfort 15s, which are wired and about 5 years old. They run on a AAA battery and you’d think I’d upgrade. Well, when I do you can guarantee it’s going to be the QuietComfort 35s. In the meantime, you can see the quality on the brand given that I’m still using mine five years after purchasing.
The QuietComfort 35s are wireless, but with a wired option for doubled battery life (20 – 40 hours).
They are fantastic, with high quality noise cancellation, and allow you to walk around the house listening to whatever music you like. If you need to take or make a phone call, the mic quality is superb and operates just fine in windy conditions.
In short, there is no better pair of noise cancelling bluetooth over the ear headphones on the market. Trust me, buy Bose.
As far as earbuds go, the sound quality reaches its pinnacle with the SoundSport headphones from Bose.
Also, refreshingly, they don’t fall out of your ears!
The sound quality equalizes at all volume levels, ensuring a superb listening experience.
These Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC enabled headphones are great for the gym, and are sweatproof. The only drawback is just 6 hours of battery life, so they are best used for day trips versus long bouts of traveling.
